Terms of Service

By creating a Folaria account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Folaria.

Folaria is a web-based application for managing personal plant collections. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

Folaria is a Progressive Web App (PWA) and does not require installation from an app store.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Folaria in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the service.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

You must not:

• Share your account with others.
• Create accounts on behalf of others without consent.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Folaria.

The free plan allows you to:

• Create up to 10 plant cards.
• Access a basic collection overview.
• Use one propagation batch.

Free accounts are not time-limited.

Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features, including unlimited plants.

Subscriptions:

• Are billed via Stripe.
• Renew automatically (monthly or yearly).
• Can be canceled at any time from your account settings.

Your access continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.

Pricing and refunds
Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact hello@folaria.app within 7 days.

You agree not to:

• Use Folaria for illegal purposes.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Scrape or automate requests at scale.
• Upload content that violates intellectual property rights.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The content you create — including plant data, journal entries, and photos — belongs to you. We store this data on your behalf and do not claim ownership.

You may:

• Export your data (Pro feature).
• Delete your account and associated data at any time.

The Folaria name, logo, and application design are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute them without permission.

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

If Folaria is discontinued, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and an option to export your data.

Folaria is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use Folaria at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Loss of data, content, or access.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of Folaria after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
