When Alina Boiko started building her Alocasia collection, she quickly realised that the more plants she had, the harder it became to remember the details about each one. Finding photos from different growth stages was a challenge. When the plants started producing corms — and those corms started sprouting — tracking all the processes became overwhelming.

She searched for apps made for plant collectors. Nothing felt right. So she decided to build her own — an app that brings together every process a plant collector actually deals with. Folaria is a women-owned business, built from a real collector's frustration and love for plants.
